Job Title: SAP HCM Security & Identity Governance SME

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

++Job Description:++

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP HCM Security & Identity Governance SME to support an enterprise IAM Assessment focused on access governance, identity workflows, role design, and authorization models within SAP HCM. The SME will work with the internal account team and client stakeholders to define scope, identify integration requirements, and provide expert guidance on SAP security best practices.

++Responsibilities:++

  • Lead technical discovery and scoping sessions related to SAP HCM access, identity governance, and authorization.
  • Analyze current-state SAP security roles, profiles, SoD risks, and access control processes.
  • Document existing SAP HCM identity workflows and integration points with HR and IAM systems.
  • Provide recommendations for improved governance, SoD remediation, and future-state role design.
  • Define integration requirements between SAP and enterprise IAM/IGA platforms.
  • Advise on SAP security architecture, compliance controls, and best practices.
  • Support the internal account team with technical inputs for SOW creation.
  • Participate in delivery activities if the client approves the overall engagement.

++Required Skills & Experience:++

  • 7–10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Security, specifically SAP HCM / HR modules.

  • Deep expertise in:

  • SAP roles, authorizations, and access control

  • SoD (Segregation of Duties) frameworks and remediation

  • Identity workflows and user provisioning

  • SAP Governance and compliance models

  • Experience integrating SAP with IAM/IGA platforms (RSA, SailPoint, Saviynt, etc.).

  • Strong communication skills and experience running client-facing workshops.

  • Ability to translate technical SAP security concepts into business requirements.
