Safety Coordinator
Job Overview
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support workplace safety initiatives in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role works closely with employees and leadership to promote safe work practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Conduct new hire orientations and ongoing safety training
- Perform facility safety audits and inspections
- Identify hazards and track corrective actions
- Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Maintain safety records, training documentation, and OSHA logs
- Support internal and external safety audits
- Manage PPE programs and first aid supplies
- Participate in safety meetings and employee engagement initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Safety experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Experience with hazard identification and OSHA recordkeeping
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, heat, and production equipment. Combination of office and production floor responsibilities.
