Job Summary and Qualifications
General Statement of Duties: Will utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes and communicate need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations. Promotes a positive image of nursing and promotes collegiality among healthcare team members.
C.A.R.E Pool RNs are required to work the following:
Hours per Pay Period: Tier V(Labor and Delivery RN):Minimum hours, weekend commitment, and demographic location determined by the group and POD in the HealthONE CARE pool Agreement.
Holiday Requirements: Tier V (Labor and Delivery RN):1Majoror1 minor holiday, and 1 difficult to staff day annually. Tier V benefited:1Majorand1 minor holiday, and1 difficult to staff day annually.
Floating:
HealthONE C.A.R.E Pool employees will be required to float to all HealthONE facilities within the chosen pod. C.A.R.E Pool Nurses will be scheduled in units in which they have competencies. C.A.R.E Pool Nurses can be placed in a unit below their competency level with a modified assignment.
What qualifications you will need:
Tier V (Labor and Delivery RN) Compact RN license or Colorado RN license accepted upon hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics, Neonatal Nurses Intermediate Fetal Monitor Course (AWHONN IFMC) required at time of hire.
Education: Graduate of a certified School of Nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of at least two years of RN experience in acute care, preferably on a labor and delivery unit, for Tier V (Labor and Delivery RN).
