Stellantis Financial Services SFS is the new captive finance company for one of the worlds leading automakers and a mobility provider with iconic brands including Abarth Alfa Romeo Chrysler Citron Dodge DS Automobiles Fiat Jeep Lancia Maserati Opel Peugeot Ram Vauxhall Free2move and Leasys Our exciting growth provides opportunities to advance your career as we successfully lead products and services from a small to midsize company in just a few years Join our world class team and culture and contribute to our core mission which is enhancing our customers experience Position Summary Essential Duties and Responsibilities Repossession Specialist II is responsible for managing the repossession process for delinquent accounts serving as a key liaison between borrowers and internal teams This role involves identifying resolution opportunities coordinating with the replevins team when necessary handling escalated cases and providing guidance to junior team members to ensure efficient and compliant recovery operations Qualifications and Competencies Required Evaluates and assigns accounts approved for repossession including involuntary voluntary abandoned and impounded casesConducts light skip tracing reviews payment activity or arrangements and places accounts on hold or closes them when appropriateAssigns accounts to repossession companies and follows up with agents to ensure timely updates and resolutionDocuments secure vehicles in the system and notify all relevant departments; handles impounded vehicles and secure their releaseCloses dead end assignments and forwards unresolved cases to the skip department for further investigationAssists in selecting repossession agents negotiates fees and verifies insurance and bond coverageEnsures compliance with legal requirements including RTC SCL SSCRA and Bankruptcy protections processes vehicle reinstatements and redemptionsReviews repossession invoices posts to the AMW screen forwards for payment and maintains confidentiality while accessing sensitive consumer informationRequired Experience Minimum of two to three years of auto collection experience with intermediate knowledge of regulations and policies regarding repossessions Education High School Diploma andor GED Additional Requirements Overtime required required on an as needed basisTravel 0 10 as required on an as needed basisMust have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities Dallas Texas Hybrid Qualifications Preferred Demonstrates excellent communication interpersonal customer service and organizational skills with strong attention to detailExcels in time management task prioritization delegation and performing under high paced stressful conditionsPossesses strong analytical and problem solving abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related softwareMaintains deep knowledge of the captive finance and auction industry identifying key drivers and developing mitigation strategiesComplies with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and relevant laws;
