[Remote] Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Helic & Co. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software systems that solve real-world problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and will work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and robust software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Continuously explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C , or Go.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
