Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Developer with strong experience in building data warehouses from scratch, deep understanding of FDI reporting frameworks, and hands-on experience with Financial Data, ODI, and OBIEE. This role is 100% remote but requires working Mountain Standard Time (MST) hours.

Oracle FDI Data Warehouse Development

1. Architect and design the Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Data Warehouse including staging, curated, and semantic layers.
2. Define the end-to-end data architecture using ADW, FDI Pipelines, Data Transforms, fact/dimension models, materialized datasets, and ELT workflows.
3. Create enterprise-grade star schemas for Financials, P2P, O2C, HCM, Expense, and Projects subject areas.
4. Lead the design of fact tables, dimension hierarchies, KPI layers, and semantic metadata for reporting teams.
5. Must have hands-on experience building and architecting Oracle FDI Data Warehouses from the ground up.
6. Ability to design data models, fact/dimension tables, staging layers, and semantic layers.
7. Expertise loading ERP data into FDI using Oracle-provided pipelines, BICC, ODI ELT, or custom data ingestion patterns.

Oracle FDI Reporting Tooling Knowledge

1. Understanding of how FDI reporting layers (semantic models, KPIs, dashboards, datasets) consume the warehouse.
2. Not responsible for report development, but must know how FDI warehouse structures support OTBI, BIP, DV, and FDI dashboards.
3. Ability to validate that data warehouse outputs align with reporting requirements.

Financial Data + ODI + OBIEE Background

1. Strong background working with Financial Data Models (GL, AP, AR, FA, Project Accounting, Financial Consolidation).
2. Hands-on experience with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) and OBIEE/Oracle Analytics for ETL, modeling, and data transformation.
3. Ability to understand enterprise accounting flows, reconciliations, period accounting, and financial analytics.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build a new Oracle FDI Data Warehouse from scratch.
• Define data flows, ETL/ELT pipelines, scheduling, and orchestration for data ingestion.
• Work closely with functional finance stakeholders to understand data validation, period closing, and reporting requirements.
• Map ERP Financials (GL/AP/AR/FA/Projects) data to the new FDI warehouse.
• Optimize data performance, partitioning, error handling, and incremental refresh logic.
• Ensure warehouse models align with FDI reporting structures and naming conventions.
• Partner with reporting teams to validate data and support UAT cycles.
• Document data mappings, transformation logic, and technical design specifications.

Qualifications:

• 5 10+ years experience in Oracle Data & Analytics (FDI, ODI, OBIEE, OAC).
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
• Proven experience building or rearchitecting enterprise data warehouses.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, P2P, O2C, FA, and Financial Reporting.
• Expertise with Oracle Cloud ERP data structures, BICC, FBDI, OTBI, and Oracle Cloud Financials data model.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must be able to work MST timezone hours.
