Matrix Providers is hiring a qualified Registered Nurse RN to join our team of talented professionals who provide healthcare services to our veterans and their families at TRICARE Prime Clinic Virginia Beach VA Status Full TimeCompensation This is an hourly position 3200 to 3600hr and H&W 509hrSchedule Monday Friday 0700 1530Benefits Competitive financial package with a comprehensive insurance package including health dental vision and life coverageAccrued Paid Time Off PTO & Paid Holidays401k PlanThe Registered Nurse RN must have the following qualifications DegreeEducation graduate of a state accredited professional nursing program OR a program accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing ACEN or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education CCNEExperience Possess a minimum of one 1 year experience as an RN working in an outpatient acute care hospital based Med Surge or ambulatory care setting within the last two yearsLicensure Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in anyone 1 of the 50 States the District of Columbia the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Guam or the US Virgin IslandsJob Summary Perform a full range of RN duties in accordance with assignment under the task order including triage; patient assessment and monitoring; use of patient monitoring and treatment equipment; appropriate nursing care procedures and treatments; execution of physicians orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice; documentation of patient care and observations; and patient education and emotional supportAssess each patient and perform triage duties as assignedFormulate and carry out a goal directed plan of care which based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes and which is prioritized according to patient needs and available resources including time personnel equipment and suppliesEvaluate effectiveness of self care given by all health team members and contribution of systems environment and instrumentation in progressing patient toward outcomesProvide treatment and discharge instructions upon patient releasePerform assessmentdata collection in an ongoing and systematic manner focusing on physiological psychological and cognitive statusProvide a safe and clean environment for each patientIdentify patientsignificant other learning needs and implement appropriate measures to meet identified needsINDKK
