Regional Operations Manager- IN/OH/PA

The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for performing the following duties Ensure StateArea Managers are complying with Stake Center expectationsAssist with training company expectations to ManagementAssist with training SCL Area Manager Guidelines to ManagementEnsure SCL AMG are being followed day to dayAssist with updating prints to Area Managers as neededInteract daily with Stake Center Corporate Departments as neededInteract daily with field management of customersAttend field meetings with locatorsInteract daily with any escalation contractor or homeowner issuesManage daily ticket flow view late tickets and ensure protocol is followed with ManagersAssist with relocating techs daily for ticket completionEnsure that paint & supplies are ordered and stocked in each areaReport up to the Director any field concerns ex late tickets per areaEnsure management is training locators based on CGA guidelinesInteract with office admin on daily ticket calls issues etcReport up to the Director any print discrepanciesReport up to the Director if disciplinary measures need to be takenAttend customer field calls monthly QUALIFICATIONS Worded as a StateArea Manager for minimum 3 years10 years utility locating experienceUnderstands production and fiber locating businessUnderstands CGA locating guidelinesSpecialized skills trainingcertification may be requiredAbility to accept responsibility and account for hisher actionsDependable and trustworthyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to look beyond the standard solutionsAbility to perform work accurately and thoroughly REQUIREMENTS Must travel 75 of time andPosition requires a flexible schedule to include Holidays and weekendsMust be able to handle multiple tasks over a wide spread areaMust be able to make efficient & quick decisions in short time periodProficient with email excel and reporting structuresWORK ENVIRONMENT Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds in a physical environmentAbility to stand and walk for periods of time up and exceeding 60 minutesRegular exposure to factors such as temperatures extremes and variety of terrainsAbility to walk all types of terrain grass ditches wooded areas gravel etc in and around construction zones and residential commercial industrial and rural areas in all types of weather conditions rain snow cold heat etc
