Radar software engineer

Requirements

Must have:

– Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance – U.S. citizenship required – Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a comparable field – At least 5 years of relevant experience – Proficient in contemporary C++ programming language – Experience in developing, debugging, and testing real-time, multi-processor software – Familiarity with radar control, signal processing, or radar simulation – Knowledge of code optimization techniques – Experience in thorough software testing and verification – Understanding of software modeling (UML) and architectural principles – Knowledge of design patterns – Familiarity with automated testing tools, static code analysis, and version control systems like git and GitLab – Proficiency in using the Confluence Tool Suite

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance radar modeling and simulation software – Integrate and verify software components in a multi-disciplinary team environment – Collaborate with team members to enhance software capabilities – Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications – Optimize existing code for performance improvements – Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to modeling efforts – Utilize automated testing tools for quality assurance – Provide documentation and reports on software functionality and tests
