Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of products from suppliers across the United States, implementing quality-control processes, and driving supplier performance excellence.What You Will Be Doing As the Senior Quality Engineer you will be responsible for developing and executing the program’s quality plan, serving as the primary point of contact for quality issues, and guiding cross-functional teams toward continuous improvement.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the program quality plan to meet contractual and customer requirements.

  • Analyzing quality data, leading root-cause investigations, and driving corrective-action initiatives.

  • Conducting audits, inspections, and surveillance activities and ensuring resources are allocated effectively.

  • Communicating quality status, metrics, and progress updates to the Integrated Program Team and senior leadership.

  • Collaborating with supplier quality, process engineering, manufacturing, and systems teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications

  • STEM Bachelors Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline required or equivalent experience/combined education

  • Quality or Development or Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering experience

  • Project Management Skills

  • Root Cause and Corrective Action Facilitation Experience

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (This requires US Citizenship)

Desired skills

  • STEM Bachelors Degree from an accredited college highly preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Previous Program or Product Quality Experience

  • Project Management, Leadership, and Delegation Abilities

  • ISO9001/AS9100 experience

  • Risk Identification and Mitigation

  • Formal Causal Analysis Experience

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt

  • Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA), Focalplane (FPA) Manufacturing or Quality experience

  • Experience with MDA Mission Assurance Provisions (MAP)

  • Space-Qualified Hardware

  • Data analysis, trend analysis (AI-facilitated)
