About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Wichita, United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading quality assurance initiatives across our software development lifecycle, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and safety. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement efforts, optimize testing processes, and uphold compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and operations to establish and maintain quality standards, develop automated testing frameworks, and analyze defect data to inform process enhancements. Your leadership will also involve mentoring junior QA team members and fostering a culture of quality excellence within the organization.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of three years of professional experience in quality assurance or quality engineering roles. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably with a focus on industrial engineering or related fields. Knowledge of ISO9001 standards is essential, along with a strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, defect tracking, and test management tools.

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in designing comprehensive test cases and scenarios, as well as experience leading or mentoring QA teams. A solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving techniques is important, along with excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration practices is highly desirable. Additionally, knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and test plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead and mentor junior quality assurance team members and Quality Inspectors, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure efficient and reliable testing across multiple platforms.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and conduct root cause analysis to drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to establish quality standards and acceptance criteria.
• Define and track quality metrics and key performance indicators to measure testing effectiveness and product reliability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the quality assurance process.
• Review and optimize existing QA processes to enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
• Document test cases, test results, and quality reports with precision and clarity.
• Participate in code reviews and provide quality feedback to development teams.
• Conduct customer complaint analysis to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
