About The Role The Technical QA Analyst II at Judi Health plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products within the Capital Rx JUDI platform. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise who can collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to uphold the integrity of our solutions. The role involves proactively identifying and resolving technical issues, validating system functionality, and enhancing user experience to meet and exceed business expectations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of system behavior, experience with monitoring and log analysis, and the ability to translate complex requirements into effective test plans. This position offers an opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setting near the NYC area, contributing to innovative healthcare solutions that benefit our clients and their members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (strongly preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in QA analysis, software engineering, business analysis, or a related role
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Strong SQL skills; familiarity with SQLAlchemy is a plus
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and workflows
- Experience with version control systems like GitHub or similar
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical details for non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot technical issues within the JUDI platform, focusing on key technologies such as Python/Django, PostgreSQL, and AWS services
- Conduct root cause analysis utilizing logs, database queries, and system monitoring data to resolve issues effectively
- Monitor and analyze system logs using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic to validate application functionality and detect anomalies
- Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize system metrics and performance indicators
- Utilize SQL to query and analyze data within the PostgreSQL database, supporting troubleshooting and trend analysis
- Collaborate with engineering teams on support and monitoring of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
- Translate business requirements into detailed test plans and test cases in partnership with Product Managers and engineers
- Execute manual and exploratory testing, document bugs, and ensure resolution aligns with quality standards
- Support the Scrum team by managing backlogs, refining tickets, and contributing to roadmap planning
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), stakeholder communication, and documentation to ensure alignment with business goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and report any non-compliance issues promptly
