Job Description
- Indirect purchasing for all commodities for UAE, KSA and Oman
- Supports daily activities and special projects
- Provides seamless supply chain coordination with suppliers and internal business partners
- Ensures project timeline is met and keeps the stake holders involved / updated
- Participates in supplier meetings and takes meeting notes and derives project plan
- Prepares the purchasing documents, quotation, PSM, SM process and final work on approval
- Requests quotations from service providers
- Follows the tender / RFQ process in line with the iBuy policy on indirect purchasing
- Market research and source new suppliers if needed
- Ensures documentation of purchase orders and contracts in line with the internal audit requirements
- Other activities relevant to the purchasing area, as addressed by the purchasing supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree graduate with less than 1 year experience
- Hands on experience on MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good analytical, coordination and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills, and supplier mentoring
- Proactive approach in resolving customer complaints
- Fluent in English
