What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Assist AHCCCS Providers in processing applications, answering questions, and collecting necessary information
• Conduct site visits to evaluate compliance with CMS Medicaid requirements and provider services
• Determine provider eligibility based on CMS guidelines and conduct in-depth screening
• Act as an AMS Team Lead on projects, sharing results and suggesting process improvements
• Maintain expert knowledge of relevant statutes, rules, and policies to ensure compliance

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of two and a half years of experience in a multi-functional customer service environment
• Knowledge of Medicaid programs and CMS guidelines
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using computer systems, including word processing and database applications

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience working in medical eligibility, enrollment, or claims processing
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus
• Familiarity with healthcare computer systems such as APEP
