About the Opportunity:

The Project Manager (PM) works independently, assuming primary responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating, and delivering project activities throughout the entire project life cycle from initiation to handoff to the customer. The PM ensures project objectives are met on time, within budget, and in accordance with the organization”s project management methodologies and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead one or multiple medium to large projects with department or site level strategic importance

• Manage projects with moderate to high risk and interdependencies, and moderate to high associated costs

• Manage established budgets, participate in budget creation and tracking, and adhere to budget guidelines

• Facilitate problem-solving, decision-making, and change management to achieve project objectives with minimal supervision

• Apply negotiation skills and business acumen to manage projects and build relationships across diverse functions

• May supervise and evaluate staff from other departments, divisions, and contractors/vendors; may have direct and indirect reports

• Advocate project management practices, methods, and standards, and advise staff accordingly

• Utilize Agile methodologies including monitoring scrum processes and meetings

• Guide teams on Agile practices and values to implement critical projects

• Assess team/organization maturity and coach to higher levels sustainably

• Remove impediments or guide teams to do so, escalating to management when necessary

• Build a trusting and safe environment for problem resolution

• Facilitate work without coercion, assigning, or dictating

• Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution

• Support and educate Product Owner in backlog creation and refinement

Requirements:

• Bachelor”s degree with 7 years of experience in Project Management and business-related activities, or Master”s degree with 4 years of experience

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred

• Preferred education in project management, business administration, or management

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Product Management, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, and/or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) are desirable

Compensation:

• $95,534 to $133,764 per year

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, business hours

• 100% remote work with 10% or more travel
