Project Controls Manager Development and Capital Projects Southall is a premier destination bringing nature produce and people together in a powerful and unique way The Project Controls Manager serves as the operational backbone of the development team ensuring budgets timelines consultants contractors and internal stakeholders remain aligned and accountable This is not a field superintendent role; rather it is a strategic administrative and financial management position focused on cost control schedule tracking process discipline and coordination Southall is seeking a highly organized financially disciplined and systems oriented individual to support the planning execution and oversight of multiple development and capital improvement projects across the property This role works directly under the Vice President of Development and is responsible for project controls financial oversight scheduling integrity documentation management and cross functional coordination from concept through close out Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them through menu choicesLead financial tracking cost controls and budget oversight across multiple concurrent projectsMaintain detailed commitment logs change order logs cash flow projections and variance reportingDevelop and manage critical path schedules using Smartsheets or similar project management platformsMonitor milestone progress and proactively identify cost or schedule risksCoordinate project workflows between ownership the Vice President of Development architects engineers consultants contractors and internal Southall teamsMaintain organized project documentation including contracts drawings RFIs submittals change orders schedules and close out materialsPrepare and manage meeting agendas notes action item logs and follow up trackingEscalate concerns or compensation requests when neededReview contractor pay applications invoices and change orders for accuracy and alignment with approved budgetsCoordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure proper cost coding and reconciliationAssist with capital planning forecasting and ownership reportingUtilize Excel and financial software platforms QuickBooks Sage or similar to maintain transparent and accurate financial reportingProvide high level administrative and organizational support to the Vice President of DevelopmentManage calendar coordination meeting scheduling and logistics for internal and external stakeholdersAssist with preparation of presentations reports development updates and board level materialsTrack key priorities deadlines and strategic initiativesCoordinate travel arrangements and consultant communications as neededPerform other duties as assigned in support of development and capital project initiativesPerform additional duties and projects as assigned by Southall Leadership Our Top Candidate Skills & Experience Strong customer service and communication skillsDemonstrated ability using Smartsheets or similar project management softwareAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Adobe particularly Excel for financial modeling and cost trackingExperience using financial software such as QuickBooks Sage or similar accounting systemsStrong analytical organizational and communication skillsAbility to operate at both detailed and strategic levels while supporting executive leadershipAbility to Navigate AutoCAD is a plus Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Finance Architecture or related field or equivalent experience5 years of
