About the Role
The Lead Program Manager will lead the delivery of AI training data initiatives at scale, shaping program strategy and execution. This role is central to ensuring high-quality outcomes, managing client relationships, and maintaining operational efficiency. The position requires collaboration across multiple teams and vendors to align goals and drive the successful completion of AI projects that contribute to technological advancement.
Responsibilities
- Define program goals, roadmap, milestones, and operating model across multiple projects and vendors
- Lead a delivery team with clear goals, capacity planning, coaching, and performance feedback
- Serve as the day-to-day executive contact; manage governance, planning, and quarterly business reviews
- Collaborate with Quality Management to align on guidelines, audits, and acceptance criteria
- Plan and secure rater/annotator capacity; optimize shifts, automation, and tooling
- Build and manage budgets, ensuring alignment of commercial and delivery commitments
- Maintain program RAID log; lead root-cause analyses and escalate critical issues
- Standardize SOPs, templates, and dashboards; pilot and scale automation efforts
- Ensure compliance with data handling, privacy, and platform access policies
- Coordinate with Sales/Account, Quality, Operations, and Vendor Management teams
Requirements
- Experience in program planning and portfolio governance across multiple projects
- Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills for goal setting and performance feedback
- Excellent communication skills with senior client stakeholders and internal leaders
- Proficiency with project management tools, spreadsheets, and BI dashboards; SQL/ETL knowledge is a plus
- Quality-focused mindset with practical application of SOPs and QA processes
- Sound judgment in managing scope, time, cost, and quality, with negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively with global, distributed teams; advanced English proficiency required
Compensation
$110,000 — $130,000 USD annually
