Job Title Program Coordinator IAgency Texas A&M UniversityDepartment Technology Services – Research and Education NetworkProposed Minimum Salary $4,583.34 monthlyJob Location College Station, TexasJob Type StaffJob Description Job Description Summary The Program Coordinator I, under general supervision, coordinates the planning, development and implementation of assigned program.Essential Duties/Tasks35% – TTDN Program Planning and Development:Collaborate with Director of IT in planning, implementing and evaluating of programsAssist in establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures including projects, troubleshooting, resolving problems and researchCollaborate with Directors on creating new and expanded programsAssesses client’s needs through direct interaction, mapping current and future business process through effective use of technologySupport engineering projectsFollow up with clients and stakeholders which may require travel30% – Documentation and Record-Keeping:Maintain and manage documentation including membership for all programs such as Community Engagement Program and engineering programsPrepare reports on program activitiesPrepare meeting agendas and document meeting minutesDocument current business processes and requirements including detailed functional and technical specificationsTrack circuit installations, changes, and disconnects15% – Stakeholder Engagement and Liaison:Facilitate participant engagement in meetings hosted, at times off-site, and provide speakers/contentDevelop training materials, maps, and documentation for end-usersCreate and distribute newsletter for program membersSchedule and coordinate invitations for programs with pertinent information to members15% – Procurement:Manage contract renewals and vendor quote renewals.Create web documents and handle product receiving documentation.5% – Training and Development:Participate in training and professional development sessionsOther Duties: Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Experience Two years of related experience.Required Licenses and Certifications NonePreferred Qualifications Two years of Networking ExperienceTwo years of Project Management ExperienceTwo years of Customer / Vendor Relationship ExperienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with othersMust have strong interpersonal skillsMust be able to work in a collaborative team environmentKnowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applicationsExcellent analytical and organizational skillsKnowledge of document repository environments such as Laserfiche or similarKnowledge of Information Technology Interface Library (ITIL)Additional Information Machines or equipment used in the performance of essential dutiesComputer- 30 hoursPhone- 5 hoursPhysical Requirements Ability to travel independently to other and/or remote locations by driving and/or flying on commercial airlinesOther Requirements and FactorsThis position may require up to 10-15% or more travelThis position is security sensitiveThis position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules and proceduresAll tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and University safety requirementsThis role may require working outside of standard office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support the demands of technology services and ensure the seamless operation of essential systemsExport ControlThis position will require export-control authorization prior to starting employment.All positions are security-sensitive.
