Program Analyst – Data Analysis & Reporting
Requirements
Must have:
– Masters Degree or equivalent with three (3) years of relevant professional experience OR Bachelors Degree or equivalent with five (5) years of relevant professional experience. – Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a program analyst. – Experience managing complex projects with strong interpersonal, customer service, writing, analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills. – Active TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance is essential. – Knowledge of sectors providing assigned commodities and services, supply sources, economic factors, and transportation logistics. – Proficiency in price analysis techniques for optimal procurement strategies. – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. – Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel. – Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail. – Bilingual proficiency in spoken and written English. – Successful completion of pre-employment qualifications for Cherokee Federal is required.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in strategizing and implementing Somalia PKO-funded projects and initiatives. – Assist in the formulation and execution of policies and performance metrics for Somalia PKO funding. – Coordinate and disseminate program objectives for Somalia PKO funding, identifying key partners and stakeholders. – Analyze critical program data to provide insights for informed decision-making. – Prepare, manage, and maintain essential contract and grant documentation for Somalia PKO projects. – Work closely with M&E Specialists to conduct thorough program evaluations and assess compliance with contract requirements. – Provide technical expertise during Technical Evaluation Panels as needed. – Assist with administrative tasks related to managing contract or grant files. – Contribute to drafting program overviews, progress reports, lessons-learned documents, and other related materials for AFs review. – Support the development of military assistance strategies and program management for Somalia. – Aid in drafting and implementing standard operating procedures to enhance grant and contract oversight. – Collaborate in drafting memos, cables, briefing notes, and background materials related to programs. – Offer recommendations to improve the effectiveness and quality of Somalia PKO-funded foreign assistance initiatives. – Take part in program review meetings and associated discussions. – Assist in coordinating with the acquisition management office on contractual concerns. – Attend mandatory office, team, and program meetings. – Be prepared to travel, including to Somalia and other locations within Africa, as necessary. – Provide assistance to non-Somalia PKO Programs when necessary. – Contribute to knowledge management efforts to enhance understanding of U.S. security assistance to African partners through the managed Portal. – Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
