Product Manager, Safety Systems
Requirements
Must have:
– 6 years of experience in product management or related fields, with a focus on AI safety, trust & safety, or similar disciplines. – A strong curiosity about interdisciplinary areas such as human-computer interaction, psychology, or philosophy. – Proven experience in guiding consensus and progress in uncertain environments. – Ability to identify and question underlying assumptions and constraints effectively. – Exceptional skills in cross-functional collaboration and in articulating complex technical ideas clearly and convincingly. – Enjoyment of fast-paced, rapidly evolving work environments.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with research, engineering, data science, and policy teams to integrate safety into the development and deployment of AI models. – Create robust frameworks to understand and mitigate risks associated with deployment safety, leveraging data analysis and expert insights. – Set strategic goals and product roadmaps aimed at enhancing safety during deployments and managing emerging AI features. – Design and implement scalable methodologies, tools, and processes for assessing and refining our safety measures. – Establish repeatable processes to incorporate the latest AI safety research into our models and product offerings. – Develop and continuously enhance clear metrics that effectively reflect safety performance and user experience on a large scale.
