About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Frontend Designer and Developer to join our team remotely, based in the USA or Canada. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who excels at both design and code, bridging the gap between visual aesthetics and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will have a genuine taste for modern, elegant design and possess the technical prowess to bring those designs to life in React, JSX, and advanced CSS. You will own the full lifecycle of product features—from conceptualization and prototyping to production deployment—ensuring that every interaction feels intuitive, polished, and impactful. Your work will directly influence the daily workflows of hundreds of thousands of users, including some of the most recognizable brands in the world, making this a highly visible and rewarding position.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual polish and system-level thinking
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Solid coding skills in React, JSX, and advanced CSS
- Experience in creating and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and scalable UI patterns
- Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, elegant user experiences
- Strong understanding of responsive design, typography, and layout principles
- Excellent collaboration skills with product managers and engineers
- Experience in prototyping, usability testing, and iterative design processes
- Detail-oriented with a refined visual sensibility and a high standard for taste
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Responsibilities
- Design and craft intuitive, elegant interaction flows that simplify complex workflows
- Translate user personas and use cases into seamless product experiences
- Develop and implement UI components and widgets that are reusable, consistent, and scalable
- Build prototypes and wireframes to validate ideas and gather user feedback
- Write production-ready code in React, JSX, and CSS to bring designs to life
- Document and maintain design systems within Storybook.js, ensuring consistency across teams and features
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to iterate rapidly and refine designs based on real-world testing
- Contribute to the creation of scalable design systems and component libraries that improve efficiency and coherence
- Ensure all designs meet high standards of aesthetics, usability, and modernity
- Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback to enhance user experience continuously
