About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our Creator Success team, a pivotal group responsible for shaping the core experiences that help creators build sustainable businesses and vibrant communities on Patreon. In this role, you will design essential tools and touchpoints that enable creators to publish their work, attract and retain fans, and showcase their creative offerings compellingly. Your work will influence how creators onboard, present their content, and grow their audiences, ensuring seamless and impactful free and paid experiences. You will tackle high-impact challenges across the creator journey, including designing publishing workflows for various content creators such as podcasters, video producers, and newsletter writers. Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Research teams, you will translate ambiguous opportunities into clear, innovative design solutions that directly impact the growth and success of hundreds of thousands of creators on our platform.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in end-to-end product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful customer experiences
- Proven track record of shipping world-class designs that positively influence business metrics
- Deep organizational and execution skills, especially in cross-functional team environments
- Experience leading design thinking methodologies to achieve user-centered outcomes
- Exceptional craft and product excellence, with a passion for quality and detail
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Humility, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset
- Bias towards action and scrappiness in problem-solving and project execution
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify company-level opportunities and develop high-fidelity prototypes to communicate insights and solutions
- Partner with Research, Product, and Engineering teams to plan, scope, and execute comprehensive design solutions
- Develop innovative design patterns and systems that are durable, scalable, and maintain high standards of craft
- Create, iterate, and refine prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, and key user flows to ensure seamless user experiences
- Contribute to the vision, sequencing, tactics, and execution of multi-phased product overhauls
- Own and redefine critical components of the Patreon core product, ensuring they meet strategic and user needs
- Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency, usability, and aesthetic quality in all design deliverables
