2. About the Opportunity: The Product Data Analystrole is integral to driving data-informed decisions throughout the product development lifecycle. This position focuses on turning complex quantitative data into actionable insights that improve user experience, product adoption, retention, and overall business outcomes. The role partners with cross-functional teams including UX Research, Product Management, Design, Content, Engineering, and Customer-facing groups to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Design, Content, and Product Management teams to identify and analyze key quantitative data needs

• Define, track, and report metrics that show the impact of product features and design efforts

• Proactively analyze data to uncover insights that inform product strategy and enhance the customer experience

• Train peers to leverage user research and usage metrics for better design decisions

• Support research operations by preparing recruitment lists and addressing ad-hoc data queries

• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for cross-functional use

• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses with clear recommendations

• Identify key indicators of engagement, activation, retention, and growth

• Work with Product Operations, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure accurate data tracking and instrumentation

• Advocate for research-driven, user-centered solutions across stakeholder groups

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience in Product Analytics or similar roles supporting B2B SaaS or enterprise software

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience querying large datasets in data warehouses such as Snowflake

• Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, Google Analytics) and BI tools (e.g., Sigma)

• Ability to define and measure KPIs like activation, engagement, retention, churn, and feature adoption

• Demonstrable work samples showing analytical skills and business impact

• Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and refine product designs

• Familiarity with statistical tools (e.g., R, Python) and methods like cluster analysis and multivariate regression is a plus

• Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field, or equivalent experience

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills

• Ability to learn complex technical concepts and provide constructive feedback

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base salary range between $140,000 and $175,000 per year

• Actual pay determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and legal factors

• Total compensation may include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in formal offers
