About the Opportunity:

This organization empowers manufacturing businesses to improve design, modeling, development, and sales processes across the manufacturing value chain, utilizing AI-driven technology solutions. The Procurement Specialist will establish and manage the procurement function by developing end-to-end processes, policies, and tools to support companywide procurement strategy, overseeing sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, and purchasing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement end-to-end procurement processes, including approval workflows and purchasing controls

• Draft and maintain procurement policies, standard operating procedures, and standards

• Build and maintain a centralized supplier database and procurement documentation system

• Establish standardized sourcing and vendor evaluation processes

• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and negotiate pricing, contract terms, and purchasing agreements

• Apply AI-based analytics to evaluate spend data and generate cost-saving insights

• Use AI-powered tools to identify new vendors and assess risk profiles

• Establish vendor onboarding, qualification, risk assessment, and performance evaluation programs

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal, and other teams to define requirements and forecast needs

• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement

• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve effectiveness

• Recommend and implement procurement technology tools to streamline purchasing

• Prepare and present procurement reports on spending, vendor performance, and risks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

• 3 to 7 years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment

• Experience creating procurement processes, policies, or sourcing frameworks

• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills

• Knowledge of procurement best practices, cost-analysis techniques, and compliance standards

Compensation:

• USD 100,000 to USD 115,000 yearly

• Full-time, bonus eligible position

• Salary based on experience, education, training, skills, responsibilities, benefits, and work location
