Requirements

Must have:

### – A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. – A minimum of twelve (12) years of industry-related experience, including expertise in one or two IT disciplines (e.g., technical architecture, network management, application development, etc.) within a multitier environment. – At least six (6) years of experience with information security, regulatory compliance, and risk management concepts. – A minimum of three (3) years of experience with Identity and Access Management, user provisioning, Role-Based Access Control, or relevant security awareness training. – Proficiency in cloud and/or virtualization technologies is required. – Preferred experience includes a minimum of three (3) years working with matrixed high-performance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Principal Information Security Specialist, I will initiate and coordinate assignments, using extensive professional knowledge to make independent judgments regarding analysis, evaluation, and implementation of long-term enterprise solutions. – I will optimize information management approaches to align projects with business needs and ensure they do not duplicate functionalities. – I will design and manage service lines in my product area while mitigating risks related to information and assets through appropriate standards and policies. – Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), I will maintain an understanding of organizational applications and assist stakeholders in recognizing their information protection needs. – I will collaborate with other architects to create scalable and adaptable enterprise solutions that meet the evolving business landscape. – I will support and/or lead InfoSec standards activities for business continuity and change management, educating management on security issues. ###

The Cloud Security Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering cloud security services. This position requires deep technical expertise and collaboration with internal and external teams to design, implement, and refine cloud security controls. The incumbent will support both project-based and ongoing security initiatives, focusing on the security of our cloud migration and processes, as well as risk-driven security outcomes. Our department operates predominantly (80%) remotely, with occasional onsite requirements (20%) at our Philadelphia offices. We emphasize fair and transparent pay practices, and the salary range for this role is $126,560.00 to $167,690.00 annually.
