Position Overview The Dallas Bulls are seeking a skilled and articulate Press Secretary to serve as the official spokesperson and manage all press communications. This role is responsible for delivering clear, consistent messaging to the media, coordinating press events, and supporting the organization’s public image and media relations efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the Dallas Bulls, communicating with local, national, and sports media.
  • Prepare and deliver statements, press releases, and official responses on behalf of the organization.
  • Coordinate press conferences, interviews, and media events.
  • Monitor media coverage and advise leadership on public perception and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Media Relations and communications team to ensure message consistency.
  • Manage crisis communication and respond swiftly to sensitive or urgent media inquiries.
  • Draft talking points and prepare executives and players for media interactions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in press relations, media communications, or public affairs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong public speaking ability.
  • Experience handling media inquiries and crisis communications.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond professionally in high-stakes situations.
  • Familiarity with the sports industry and media landscape preferred.
