Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA (onsite). The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deliver insightful Power BI dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX , Power Query (M), and advanced visualization techniques.

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to design data models (Star/Snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables).

  • Build and optimize datasets in Power BI Service, managing refresh schedules, gateways, and workspace settings.

  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.

  • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), role-based access, and governance standards.

  • Integrate Power BI with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and SQL-based sources.

  • Conduct performance tuning, data validation, and usability testing.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and standardized reporting templates.

  • Automate recurring reports and maintain documentation for datasets and dashboards.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency with Power BI Desktop , Power BI Service , DAX , and Power Query (M).

  • Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and transformation (SQL Server, Azure SQL, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with data modeling , ETL , and data validation.

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake Schema, Fact/Dimension design).

  • Experience connecting Power BI to Azure , Databricks , Excel , and API data sources.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving , and communication skills.
