Stellantis Financial Services SFS is the new captive finance company for one of the worlds leading automakers and a mobility provider with iconic brands including Abarth Alfa Romeo Chrysler Citron Dodge DS Automobiles Fiat Jeep Lancia Maserati Opel Peugeot Ram Vauxhall Free2move and Leasys Our exciting growth provides opportunities to advance your career as we successfully lead products and services from a small to midsize company in just a few years Join our world class team and culture and contribute to our core mission which is enhancing our customers experience Position Summary As a Post Charge Off Repossession Specialist II you will serve as a key liaison in the repossession process for delinquent accounts This role involves working directly with borrowers to identify and implement recovery solutions while coordinating with the replevins team when legal action is required You will manage escalated cases and may provide guidance and support to junior team members The position requires strong communication problem solving and organizational skills to ensure efficient and compliant asset recovery Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assign charged off accounts for repossession including involuntary voluntary and abandoned unitsCoordinate with repossession vendors; update internal systems and notify relevant departments upon securing vehiclesConduct preliminary skip tracing and maintain regular follow ups with agents on account statusMonitor accounts for payments or arrangements; apply holds or initiate closures as neededForward unresolved cases to the skip department for further investigationSupport agent selection fee negotiation and verification of insurance and bond complianceEnsure adherence to legal guidelines including RTC SCL SSCRA and bankruptcy protectionsProcess reinstatements and redemptions audit invoices and assist with vehicle release proceduresMaintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive consumer data including Social Security numbers and birth datesAdditional duties may be assigned as needed to support departmental or organizational goalsQualifications and Competencies Required To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill andor ability required Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Required Experience 2 years of experience in auto collections with working knowledge of repossession regulations and policiesCall center background preferred for handling customer interactions and account resolutionEducation High School Diploma andor GEDSkills Required Strong communication interpersonal and customer service skills; effective cross team collaborationSkilled in organization time management and prioritization within fast paced environmentsProficient in Microsoft Office; experienced with document management systems and compliance workflowsSolid analytical abilities with knowledge of captive finance auctions FDCPA and collection laws;
