Pool Lifeguard
Job Category: HospitalityJob Description: Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Lifeguard will maintain an attractive, sanitary, and safe swimming pool for the guest by enforcing all pool regulations and safety requirements. You will report to the Hotel Shift Manager.Start Rate: $13.18 p/h | Temp | Seasonal | Must be 18+Primary Tasks: 1. You will maintain constant surveillance of guest in the facility, act immediately to secure safety of guest in the event of an emergency.2. Perform different responsibilities to maintain a clean and safe facility.3. Assist with setup and/or movement of equipment to ensure availability for special events.4. Maintain facility, presentation, cleanliness, and safety conditions.5. You will deliver high levels of customer satisfaction to ensure the reputation for excellence is maintained.6. Prepare routine administrative paperwork.7. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.Requirements:
- CPR certification
- Minimum Shallow Water Lifeguard Certification from recognized safety organization
- Skill in application of life guarding surveillance and rescue techniques
- Apply oral or written communication techniques
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Maintain fitness level of strength and endurance.
