Piping Project Engineer (36557)

We’re looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects, including semiconductor and other state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities.
As a Piping Engineer, you will:

Perform pipe stress analysis and develop AutoPIPE analysis models for piping systems to support the installation of piping systems

Determine pipe stresses on metal and plastic piping using automated tools and visual analysis

Generate pipe stress summary deliverables using standard software
-
Work with multidiscipline team to plan work and provide design within schedule and budget

Select pipe supports for metal and plastic piping from catalog supports and designed engineered supports when required

Work with the piping and structural team members to suggest variations to the piping design to reduce pipe stress loads.

Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field

At least 8 years of experience working on manufacturing projects
Ideally, you will also have:

Professional Engineering license

Semiconductor industry experience

Experience leading projects

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
