Job Summary and Qualifications

The employee is responsible for continuously monitoring the department inventory. The employee is required to communicate with appropriate personnel when inventory needs replenished or ordered. Inventory restocked when delivered to the department. The inventory can include, but is not limited to patient supplies, linen, office supplies, and copied materials.

Assist Physical Therapists / Occupational Therapists with patient treatments

Assist with transferring patients for Modified Barium Swallow Studies

Compliance with all safety, infection control and quality assurance policies and procedures is required. Confidentiality of the patient and treatment is required.

Promote teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.

Employee is responsible for implementing the treatment specifically designed for the developmental needs and diagnosis of the patient as instructed by the therapist.

The equipment and work area cleaned as indicated. Equipment returned to its appropriate location after treatments, dirty linen removed from the work area and placed in the appropriate containers, and debris placed in the appropriate location.

Appropriate personnel notified of any spills, leaks, etc. in the department.

Assist Therapy Director and departmental Supervisor with daily departmental operations as needed
What qualifications you will need:
- Education/Skills
- Related degree preferred
- Experience
- One to three months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications
- Current BLS.
