Job Title PEP Program ManagerAgency Texas A&M UniversityDepartment Educational Adm & Human Resources DevelopmentProposed Minimum Salary CommensurateJob Location College Station, TexasJob Type StaffJob Description What We Want The PEP Program Manager serves as a key leader within the College of Education and Human Development, overseeing project deliverables, professional development activities, and supervising Program Coordinators funded by the grant. This position ensures the successful implementation of the PEP initiative, supports compliance with grant requirements, and collaborates with faculty, staff, and external partners to promote program success and sustainability. The position is on-site based in College Station, Texas. Please note this position is grant-funded. Grant funding is contingent through September 30, 2026, position will end 9/30/2026.Essential Duties/TasksProject and Grant ManagementOversee, plan, organize, and manage the implementation of the PEP grant, ensuring all project objectives and deliverables align with grant guidelines and reporting requirements.Develop project timelines, track expenditures, and prepare management reports for institutional leadership.Coordinate with faculty, staff, and external partners to facilitate grant activities including outreach, professional development, and stakeholder engagement.Identify and address project risks and barriers to ensure successful and timely completion of grant activities.Assist in the development and production of project materials.Manage PEP support staff and student assistants.Professional Development Coordination, Delivery and ManagementDesign, implement, and evaluate high-quality professional development (PD) programs aligned with project goals.Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure PD content is research-based and aligned with required standards.Schedule and manage logistics for PD events, including registration, materials, venues, and technology support.Collect feedback and outcome data to inform continuous improvement of PD offerings.Communication and Stakeholder EngagementMaintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to provide project updates and solicit feedback.Represent the PEP initiative in meetings, presentations, and professional settings. Requires independent travel by driving and/or commercial flights.Develop and disseminate program communications, resource materials, and reports to promote transparency and engagement.What You Need to Know Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.Cover Letter/Resume: A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended and will help in our review. The grant is funded on a contingent basis through September 30, 2026.Work beyond normal office hours and/or weekends may be required.May direct and/or evaluate the work of others.Ability to travel independently to various locations by driving or flying on commercial airlinesQualifications Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in education, human development, or a related field.Five years of related experience.Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction or a related field from an accredited college or university.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills.Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs.Ability to work as a positive, customer-service-oriented team member.Literacy in the English language and ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.Attention to detail and ability to perform accurately in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Strong decision-making and organizational skills.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Knowledge of educational program evaluation, compliance, and reporting requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.Bilingual ability in Spanish and English (preferred).Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.Skill in designing, developing, conducting, and assessing effective programs for adult learners.Who We Are The College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) is committed to enhancing educational achievement and health outcomes, fostering innovation & development, and influencing policy & practice in the fields of education, health, sport, business, and government.
