About the Opportunity:

The organization develops a comprehensive AI-powered DevSecOps platform used by over 100,000 organizations. The Payroll Specialist role is responsible for ensuring team members are paid accurately and on time by managing payroll operations, addressing inquiries, maintaining records, and supporting processes like year-end tax forms and garnishments in a global, all-remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support accurate, timely payroll processing via data entry, review, and maintenance of records in systems such as Workday and ADP.

• Review, research, and respond to payroll inquiries from team members at all levels using ServiceNow.

• Provide instruction and basic training on payroll tools and processes, including time tracking and pay statement access.

• Maintain, update, and audit payroll data with high accuracy, including clerical tasks like filing, scanning, and organizing digital and paper records.

• Manage the garnishment process in partnership with ADP, including order uploads, monitoring workflows, and ensuring documentation.

• Assist with year-end activities such as W2 processing and address related questions from team members and external agencies.

• Create, prepare, and run standard and custom payroll reports from Workday, ADP, and other sources; distribute or store per internal guidelines.

• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Finance, and Operations on payroll-related tasks, supporting compliance, audits, and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting payroll operations focused on accurate data entry, record maintenance, and clerical tasks.

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing tools (e.g., intermediate Excel and Word or Google Sheets and Docs).

• Familiarity with payroll and HR systems such as Workday, ADP, or similar, with ability to learn new software quickly.

• Ability to provide clear, service-oriented support for payroll inquiries including pay, W2s, and employment verifications.

• Organized in managing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with HR, Legal, Finance, Operations, and vendors.

• Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, and teamwork focused on delivering thorough and reliable work.

• Openness to candidates with transferable skills in data entry, customer service, and administrative support.
