| Salary: | HK$20,159 — HK$25,195 per month Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform environmental cleaning and disinfection of laboratory facilities in accordance with approved SOPs, and maintain the Cell Processing Clean Room at established cleanroom standards in compliance with quality, safety, and accreditation requirements;

2. Perform cleaning, disinfection and routine maintenance of equipment related to haematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy, including sterile equipment for cellular product processing, transportation and bedside thawing;

3. Responsible for liquid nitrogen (LN₂) management for cryogenic storage of patient cellular therapy products and biological samples, including handling, monitoring, and maintaining LN₂ levels in storage tanks in accordance with established procedures following training;

4. Transfer specimen and clinical documents between different wards and laboratories within or outside hospital premises after training;

5. Handle and dispose of clinical waste in accordance with supervisor’s instructions and Hospital Authority (HA) policies after training;

6. Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies and equipment, including stock keeping;

7. Assist in daily operation of HSCT Laboratory as instructed by supervisor;

8. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

1. Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent; (Please note Remarks 3)

2. Completed structured departmental training. (Please note Remarks 4)

Preferable Attributes:

1. Pleasant and mature personality, interested to work in hospital environment;

2. Knowledge in computer software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing;

3. Prior experience in handling liquid nitrogen will be a plus although training will be provided.

2. The selected candidate will be required to complete training in HSCT laboratory operations to provide specialized support for cellular therapy services.

3. Serving staff with F.3/ S.3 standard and 2 years’ care-related work experience may also be considered. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by Hospital Authority are considered to have attained F.3/S.3 level.

4. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements (2), if find suitable, will be employed to undergo at least 6 months’ on the job training including the structured departmental training. Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.
