Job Description
Location: Remote (must be able to work Mountain Standard Time or Central Time)
Job Type: 5 month contract (may have potential to extend depending on the need)
Position Summary
Our client is an oil and gas services company specializing in fluid and water management solutions that support well execution and production operations across multiple U.S. basins. The company is seeking an experienced Recruiter to lead full‑cycle recruiting efforts organization‑wide. This role is ideal for a seasoned recruiter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, understands compliance and labor regulations, and is comfortable traveling nationwide to support hiring initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead full‑cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
• Manage and coordinate the full pre‑employment process, including background checks, drug screens, and onboarding requirements
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies
• Maintain accurate and organized candidate and hiring documentation
• Represent Shalestone professionally during onsite visits, hiring events, and stakeholder meetings
Travel approximately 30–40% throughout the United States to support recruiting and workforce needs

Skills and Requirements
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional recruiting experience
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and pre‑employment processes
• Ability and willingness to travel 30–40% throughout the U.S.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to work remotely while aligning with MST or CT business hours
Compensation: $35-45/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. Preferred Qualifications
• Prior recruiting experience within the oil and gas industry or related energy sectors
• Experience supporting both field‑based and corporate roles
