Packaging Operator

This position involves handling patient blood, blood-derived drug products, and liquid nitrogen, requiring comfort with hazardous materials and PPE gowning.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring finished goods are packed per specifications, completing all packaging documentation before and during line operation, and maintaining compliance with Security, EHS, and cGMP standards.

Key duties include operating and setting up packaging equipment, performing line clearance and changeovers, verifying components, inspecting quality and printed information, sampling for QA, and maintaining good housekeeping.

Additional responsibilities involve processing incoming patient blood for manufacturing, detecting discrepancies, disposing waste properly, and substituting for other operators as needed.

Experience with SAP and MES systems is preferred but will be trained. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
