Key Responsibilities

Hunt for new business through proactive outreach, networking, and on-site cold calls and visits.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and internal operations teams to ensure long-term success.

Entertaining customers in ways that strengthen partnerships — travel, meals, events, and in-person engagement are part of the job.

Relentlessly follow up on every lead, quote, and opportunity until a clear win or loss.

Negotiate pricing and service options that balance competitiveness with profitability.

Collaborate closely with dispatch and operations to ensure flawless service execution.

Track activity and results in CRM systems, maintaining accurate records of pipeline, revenue, and customer interactions.
