OT Security Specialist

++Position Overview++

Our client is a publicly traded, globally recognized technology and manufacturing organization specializing in secure, high-precision products and advanced digital security solutions. They support some of the world’s most trusted brands across financial services and emerging technology sectors.

They are seeking an OT Security Specialist | Technical Lead to architect and build an OT security program from the ground up. This is a greenfield, high-impact role offering direct access to senior cybersecurity leadership and the opportunity to shape how a mission-critical manufacturing environment protects its operations and future.

This role requires working on-site five days per week in Somerset, NJ.

++Key Responsibilities++

Immediate Priorities

• Secure production HSMs and cryptographic key management systems
• Implement IT/OT network segmentation
• Deploy advanced OT monitoring and detection platforms
• Develop, write, and test OT-specific incident response playbooks

Ongoing Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI/ML and Web3 initiatives for security risks
• Lead OT incident response and conduct forensic investigations
• Maintain compliance with NIST SP 800-82, IEC 62443, and PCI DSS
• Present OT security posture, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
• Contribute to the design and scaling of a future OT security team

++Qualifications++

Required

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with significant OT/ICS exposure
• Direct experience with HSMs and cryptographic key management
• Strong OT incident response and forensics expertise
• Ability to communicate complex risks clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

• Background in secure manufacturing or high-assurance technology environments
• Experience securing AI/ML and Web3 systems
• Certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, or CISM
• Proven track record in building or maturing OT security programs
