If this sounds like you, read on.THE JOB PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ is seeking an Operations Assistant (Part-Time/Seasonal) to support day-of-show venue operations. Work hours are driven by the concert and event schedule and do not follow a traditional weekday or daytime workweek. This position is expected to start late March/early April.Working closely with the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for key show-day functions including event preparation, assisting with guest concerns, and upholding our venue’s service and safety standards throughout the event.WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOWork directly with the Operations Manager to perform day-of-show operational dutiesRespond to elevated guest and staff inquiries related to shows, VIP programs, meet-and-greet packages, amenities, and seat upgradesPrepare and assist with all tour VIP programsResolve guest concerns related to security and guest services, turning challenges into positive experiencesFollow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure service standards are consistently metPerform opening, running, and closing duties in accordance with venue policiesMaintain line-of-sight and atmosphere control by circulating through assigned areas and reporting issuesStay current on Standard Operating Procedures and communicate them effectively to staffCreate and distribute pre-shift, day-of-show communication to crew membersComplete incident reports and collect witness statements as requiredAssist the Security Manager with ejection logs and incident documentationSupport the Payroll and Scheduling team as neededWHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRINGAbility to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple issues simultaneouslyStrong teamwork skills that foster unity and collaborationAvailability to work nights, weekends, and holidaysPreferred: Experience working in a live music or event-driven environmentCollege coursework or degree in a related field
