Blazer Jobs is partnering with a student-centered school district in Tavares, Florida, to hire a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 20252026 school year. Compensation & Benefits

For Local Therapists:

  • $44$50/hr (competitive hourly rate)

  • Weekly pay via direct deposit

  • Full benefits: medical, dental, vision

For Travel Therapists:

  • $1,593$1,743/week (gross)

  • Tax-free housing and meal stipends (if eligible)

  • Relocation assistance

  • Credentialing/licensure support

Your Role Will Include:

  • Serving students in an inclusive school environment

  • Conducting evaluations and creating individualized treatment plans

  • Supporting fine motor, sensory, and ADL skill development

  • Collaborating with special education, general education, and related service teams

  • Maintaining documentation per district and federal guidelines

Requirements:

  • Active Florida OT license (or eligibility)

  • Previous school-based experience preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Commitment to supporting student growth and independence
