Nurse Consultant
Registered Nurse needed for management of repeated blood collection via IV catheter for timed meal test. Must have experience and be comfortable with placing and accessing IVs for purposes of blood collection. Nine timed draws will be completed per participant over an approximately 4.5 hour period. Typical work hours will be approximately 8:15-2:30. May also assist with assessing potential study-related medical events while on site (i.e., advising on blood glucose or blood pressure per study protocol).
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of experience in the area of specialization.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceMust have experience and be comfortable with placing and managing IVs for purposes of repeated blood collection. Able to work independently as possibly only RN onsite during the study visit (additional study staff and management available to support non-RN activities).
