Nurse Assistant
Position Summary:
Under direct supervision, provides personal and homemaking services to ill, convalescing, elderly, and disabled persons in the patients’ home.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provides personal care of a patient, including bathing, grooming/hygiene, and toileting.
- Takes and records daily vital signs. Reports all vital signs that are outside the normal range.
- Assists patients with positioning/turning, transfers, catheter care, and range of motion exercises.
Required:
⦁ High school diploma or equivalent.
⦁ State of Michigan CNA Certification
⦁ Current state driver’s license, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle and be a responsible driver.
Preferred:
⦁ Six months of experience with a variety of patients.
