Compensation Packages:

Local Candidates: $52$59 per hour

Travel Candidates: Weekly take-home $1888$2125, equivalent to $69$80 per hour (low taxable base rate supplemented by housing and meal stipends).

Typical Duties of a School Psychologist:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments, functional behavior assessments, and evaluations

Support IEP development and participate in eligibility meetings

Provide counseling, intervention strategies, and crisis response

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and New Mexico education policies
Requirements (New Mexico):

Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

New Mexico Public Education Department School Psychologist license (or eligibility)
-
Knowledge of MTSS and culturally responsive practices
