Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position: School Psychologist

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (School Year 20252026)

Compensation Packages:

  • Local Candidates: $52$59 per hour

  • Travel Candidates: Weekly take-home $1888$2125, equivalent to $69$80 per hour (low taxable base rate supplemented by housing and meal stipends).

Typical Duties of a School Psychologist:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments, functional behavior assessments, and evaluations

  • Support IEP development and participate in eligibility meetings

  • Provide counseling, intervention strategies, and crisis response

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and New Mexico education policies

Requirements (New Mexico):

  • Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

  • New Mexico Public Education Department School Psychologist license (or eligibility)

  • Knowledge of MTSS and culturally responsive practices
