Network Administrator
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Network Administrator to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their networking career who wants hands-on experience managing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have foundational networking knowledge and hold or be pursuing the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with configuring and maintaining network devices including routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Support LAN/WAN infrastructure and ensure network availability
- Assist with network security configurations such as VLANs, firewalls, and access controls
- Document network configurations and update technical procedures
- Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests
- Collaborate with senior network administrators and IT staff on infrastructure projects
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or a related field
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and subnetting
- Knowledge of VLANs, DHCP, and DNS
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or currently studying for CCNA
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools
- Internship or co-op experience in IT or networking
