Requirements


Must have:

– Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory. – Proximity to our San Antonio, TX site, reporting onsite up to five days a week depending on client needs. – Bachelors degree in a relevant field is essential. – A Masters degree can substitute for two years of experience. – Minimum of 7 years of software development experience with object-oriented and scripted programming languages, alongside familiarity with various DevSecOps tools, microservices, and containers. – At least 3 years of experience with bug tracking software, specifically Jira. – Minimum of 3 years testing web-based applications. – A minimum of 3 years contributing to software development projects. – At least 3 years experience in back-end web design and development. – A minimum of 3 years working with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux. – 5 years of proficiency with Jenkins and GitLab. – At least 5 years experience with a minimum of five technologies such as Postgress, RDS, Python, Java, Docker, or other specified tools. – Proven track record in relational databases, RESTful API development, and system integration. – Experience preparing and documenting system tests to ensure compliance with standards. – Practical experience with cloud environments. – Background in integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide expert support in back-end software development activities. – Utilize analytical skills to assist with process enhancements and requirements definition. – Engage in the analysis, planning, and creation of requirements documents and functional models. – Design and construct back-end architectures to facilitate system capabilities and integrations. – Develop and adjust RESTful APIs to enhance application functionality. – Manage databases, including data modeling and optimization. – Assist in testing and validation processes to confirm system operability and regulatory compliance. – Participate in Agile program increment (PI) planning and related activities that may involve travel.
