Role Overview
CRBNX is seeking a Member of the Board of Advisors with real estate industry expertise to provide high-level strategic guidance to the founding team. This advisor will help shape the company’s positioning within the real estate ecosystem, support customer and partner development, and provide insight into how CRBNX can create measurable value for owners, operators, developers, and institutional investors.
The role is designed for a senior real estate executive or investor who can serve as a trusted advisor to the company as it refines its go-to-market strategy, validates product-market fit, and expands its network across the real estate industry.
Board of Advisors Responsibilities
As a Member of the Board of Advisors, you will:
- Provide strategic guidance to the founding and management team on real estate market positioning, product strategy, and growth opportunities
- Advise on how CRBNX’s engineering automation platform can impact asset value, operating expenses, capital planning, energy efficiency, and investment decision-making
- Help identify and prioritize customer segments, including real estate owners, operators, developers, asset managers, and institutional investors
- Make introductions to potential customers, strategic partners, pilot sites, investors, and industry leaders
- Provide feedback on enterprise sales strategy, pricing, partnership models, and adoption barriers within the real estate sector
- Support pilot programs by helping validate use cases, customer pain points, and value propositions with real estate stakeholders
- Serve as an ambassador for CRBNX within the real estate community, where appropriate
Ideal Background
This Board of Advisors role is best suited for senior leaders in the real estate ecosystem, including:
- Executives from commercial real estate ownership groups, developers, operators, or property management firms
- Leaders in real estate private equity, asset management, investment management, or institutional real estate
- Professionals with experience overseeing property portfolios, building operations, capital planning, sustainability initiatives, or asset performance
Individuals with strong networks across real estate owners, operators, managers, developers, investors, and strategic industry partners
Experience with energy efficiency, building systems, engineering vendors, audits, sustainability, or PropTech is a plus, but not required.
Compensation
Compensation includes advisor equity, with the opportunity to participate as an angel investor in CRBNX.
