Medical Receptionist
Medical ReceptionistHealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Receptionist to fill an opening in Pinellas Park, Florida.Daily Responsibilities for Medical Receptionist:
- Serve patients by scheduling visits, maintaining EMR records, accounts and greeting them for their appointments
- Keep patient appointments on schedule by validating eligibility, initiating and following up on prior authorizations, and notifying appropriate staff of patient arrival
- Comfort patients by anticipating their needs, answering their questions, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and maintaining inventory of basic supplies
- Shifts vary from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Required Qualifications for Medical Receptionist:
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of experience in a Medical Front desk setting
- Experience handling phones, check in/out, insurance verification, and interacting with patients
Preferred Qualifications for Medical Receptionist:
- Vision experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
