Job Details What You’ll Do:As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care and keeping our practice running smoothly. Your day-to-day work will directly impact our patients’ health and experience.Prepare exam rooms: sanitize, stock supplies, and ensure medications/vaccines are ready for the dayReview upcoming appointments and identify gaps in care (mammograms, colonoscopies, immunizations, etc.)Escort patients to rooms and manage patient flow to maximize efficiencyTake and record vitals, patient history, allergies, medications, and current concernsAssist with procedures, including EKGs, Holter monitors, and in-office testingCollect and process lab specimens; track and document resultsPerform quality control on equipment and testing materialsHelp at the front desk when needed — greeting patients, answering phones, verifying insuranceCollaborate with providers and the care team to ensure the best patient outcomesWhat You Bring: Graduation from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program is requiredCurrent Medical Assistant certification preferred (NHA, AMT, AAMA, NCCT)BCLS certification (in-person training only, American Heart Association)Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy and aseptic techniqueA team-first attitude and commitment to providing respectful, quality careWhy You’ll Love Working Here:Be part of a mission-driven organization rooted in compassion and excellenceWork with a supportive, collaborative team that values your inputEnjoy opportunities for growth and development within Catholic HealthMake a real impact in patients’ lives — every single day
