Duration: 12 Months
Location: Redmond, WA 98052Work Shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Mon to Fri)Pay Range: USD 15.00 /hr – USD 23.85 /hrQualifications Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of previous medical device or related assembly experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to adapt to changes in procedures and learn new procedures due to product line and technology modifications.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written work instructions in English.
  • Ability to use basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Must be able to work in a clean room environment and follow clean room practices and procedures.
  • Ability to perform repetitive work per set procedures, sequence, and pace.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices, Good Manufacturing Processes, and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
  • Fine motor skills, dexterity, and eye coordination to assemble small parts using both hands.
  • Proficiency in operating manufacturing and measurement equipment.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Teams), MS Windows, and site-specific PC programs.

Other Considerations:

  • Monday-Thursday, 10 hours/day.
  • Overtime on Fridays and occasional weekends as required.
  • Work in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities Purpose/Summary:
The Assembler II is responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices in accordance with established quality and manufacturing processes.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, inspect, and test medical devices per manufacturing processes.
  • Follow instructions from Leads and Supervisors on priorities and assignments.
  • Work on one or multiple product lines as directed.
  • Accurately document information on device history records.
  • Cross-train on multiple product lines as directed.
  • Apply LEAN principles to improve metrics.
  • Report material shortages to Assembler Lead or Supervisor.
  • Perform quality checks for product defects.
  • Verify component accuracy before assembly.
  • Operate equipment such as microscopes, test equipment, ultrasonic welders, and rulers.
  • Maintain a safe work environment following safety guidelines.
  • Preserve confidentiality of documents and processes.
  • Perform all other essential duties as directed.
