Material Handler – Warehouse Worker

Mansfield Service Partners is looking for a Warehouse Worker for our Tyler, TX location. In this position, you will be responsible for receiving incoming orders utilizing a forklift and other various equipment, helping to track and maintain inventory levels, and general maintenance of shipping area. This includes performing a variety of duties: routine clerical, material handling, picking, counting, packaging, shipping, receiving, and distribution.Duties

  • Must be familiar with the shipping/receiving and storage of liquid bulk material, and or other materials to and from, delivery vehicles, tractors, using forklifts or other equipment.
  • Must understand how to move massive quantities of liquid bulk from truck to tank and tank to truck/tote.
  • Verify quantity and condition of material during the picking/ packing process according to the pick ticket or PO.
  • Some MRP experience needed to input data and post receipt transactions.
  • Use RF scanner to attach barcode tags to all incoming inventory.
  • Receive all incoming orders, transfers, purchase orders, RMA and stock purchase orders.
  • Read sales orders or pick ticket instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
  • Read and understand tote/tank strapping charts.
  • Read and follow/understand all Shell DPQA guidelines for handling specific shell products.
  • Help maintain required inventory and notify management of changes/movement.
  • Keep shipping area, racks, and floors clean at all times.
  • Be able to lift up to 40 lbs., manipulate up to 80 lbs., and move up to 440 lbs., with a drum dolly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Minimum 2-year warehouse experience, preferably in Lubes setting.
  • Minimum of 6 months forklift experience required

Education & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of replenishment material practices.
  • Basic math skills to calculate tank/tote capacity during refilling.
  • Ability to understand and support stocking activity using FIFO practices.
  • Ability to cross-train to become proficient in a variety of material handling tasks and RF scanner equipment.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, demonstrate initiative and meet Lubes standards
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate behaviors consistent with Mansfield Service Partners core values.
  • Good attendance, punctuality, and ability to perform work activities in a manner that is consistent with company policy.
